REMOVAL

1. REMOVE REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD LH EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: MUDGUARD: REMOVAL (2008 Sequoia)+

2. REMOVE REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD RH

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

3. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: REAR BUMPER: REMOVAL (2008 Sequoia)+

4. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the sensor connector.

(b) While pushing down on the lever with a finger to release the claw, disengage the claw on the other side to remove the ultrasonic sensor.

HINT:

The types of the claws on the top and bottom of the sensor are different. Observe the claws carefully before attempting to remove the sensor.

5. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the ultrasonic sensor retainer from the rear bumper.

6. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the sensor connector.

(b) While pushing down on the lever with a finger to release the claw, disengage the claw on the other side to remove the ultrasonic sensor.

HINT:

The types of claws on the top and bottom of the sensor are different. Observe the claws carefully before attempting removing the sensor.

7. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the ultrasonic sensor retainer from the rear bumper.
